Who Does Short Post? We Do Short Post!

We are here life keeps throwing us in front of the bus. Spring sprang and that slow lazy Spring eluded us this year.

More garden news and only the news worth publishing .  This is my Spring of contentment and only about a week away is another post .

What are you doing to make this your Spring of Contentment?

Listening. The weather is so beautiful and I love being outside, but instead of thinking (not always productive), I've been listening. Traffic noises aren't my favorite, but the birds are all happy with nests and it's lovely! Really helps keep me in tune and content.

Excellent! I think we have reached a place where listening is more important then speaking.

Curious to see that Leigh would saying listening as I've been made aware of the same. The spring peepers in our pond are currently so noisy at times that it almost hurts the ears, but is still a sure sign of spring. And we have a big flock of Evening Grosbeaks staying with us. Their constant, seemingly happy chatter makes me wonder what they're saying. My efforts to make this my Spring of Contentment include conscientiously trying to remain upbeat and cheerful each day. And to appreciate all I have, be happier in the here and now while stop worrying about the future.

Working on the Orchard, and hoping the plants we are placing will give us nourishment for years to come. I am not quite sure why, but I find myself more spiritual these days, and much more appreciative of the beautiful life we have, and our wondrous future! Blessed.

Waiting for the warm weather. Watching the family of blue birds getting ready for their little ones to come. Content with what we have. Have a happy Mother's Day!! xo

Mama Pea yes listening. A skill under rated and more often not put into service.

I hope you are having as much fun with your orchard as I am. Truly hoping my bare root fruit trees continue to flourish!
